Select Substance Use Initiatives: Research and Evaluation	Substance Use Initiatives: Research and Evaluation This is a one-year internship that will support substance use initiatives at Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH). The position will involve conducting a literature review focused on evidence-based practices, policies, and strategies to guide current and future efforts. Select Maricopa Health Matters Brand Refresh Intern	Maricopa Health Matters Brand Refresh Intern The intern will work with the preceptor to support the Maricopa Health Matters brand refresh. Primary tasks will include creating digital templates for staff and partners to use, such as presentation slides, agendas/meeting minutes, flyers, and emails/newsletters. The intern will also assist the preceptor with redesigning the homepage of the Maricopa Health Matters website to improve brand visibility and website navigation. 1/27/2027  -  4/30/2027  (15 hrs/week)
Select Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) Intern	Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) Intern The intern will support the Community Health Development team at the Maricopa County Department of Public Health in planning for the next Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). Through research, resource development, and partner engagement, the intern will help strengthen CHIP planning processes while gaining hands-on experience in public health planning, community collaboration, and program development. 1/27/2027  -  4/30/2027  (15 hrs/week)
Select Youth Program Intern	Youth Program Intern The Youth Tobacco Program Intern will support the Office of Tobacco Prevention and Cessation’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) and Students Taking A New Direction (STAND) programs, serving youth ages 13–19.
