	Process Improvement Intern Support process improvement efforts by mapping workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending solutions. Gain hands-on experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools through coaching and real-world projects in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. 1/28/2026 - 5/1/2026 (10 hrs/week)
	Heat Relief Resource Intern In this role, you will serve as the main contact for the HRN Resource Center, coordinating with partners to ensure equitable supply and water distribution. You will maintain and enhance the inventory database by integrating partner tracking, identify gaps, and streamline resource distribution. You will support smooth operations and improve tracking systems, along with other duties as assigned to support MCDPH Heat Relief Program. 1/28/2026 - 7/31/2026 (12 hrs/week)
	CHNA 5.0 Qualitative Intern The intern will support CHNA 5.0 qualitative projects, including analysis of open-ended Community Survey responses and conducting key informant interviews and focus groups. Responsibilities include developing materials, coordinating recruitment, facilitating key informant interviews and focus groups, qualitative coding in Dedoose, and contributing to analytic summaries and reports that inform community health priorities. 1/28/2026 - 7/24/2026 (15 hrs/week)
	Coalition Capacity Mapping - Substance Use Join our Public Health Liaisons team to connect with community coalitions and strengthen public health networks. You’ll gain hands-on experience in community engagement, information management, and applied data analysis while contributing to a coalition matrix that guides opioid settlement funding and partnership planning across Maricopa County. 1/28/2026 - 5/1/2026 (10 hrs/week)
	SU Strategic Planning & Policy Integration Work with HOPE leadership to assess progress on the County’s Substance Use Strategic Plan and prepare for the next five-year update. You’ll build skills in strategic planning, data organization, and policy analysis while helping shape a roadmap that guides real public health decisions. 1/28/2026 - 5/1/2026 (10 hrs/week)
	Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) The CHNA intern will support a critical component of the 2026 CHNA through directly collecting survey data through identifying, preparing for, and staffing community events. The survey will be launched from February-April 2026. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong communication looking for experience in data collection, needs assessments, community engagement, and event planning. 1/28/2026 - 5/1/2026 (15 hrs/week)
	Community Health Improvement Plan Intern The intern will work with the Community Health Development team within the Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH). This includes supporting initiatives related to the Health Improvement Partnership of Maricopa County (HIPMC), the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), and the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). This internship will provide a robust experience in multiple aspects of community health development, with opportunities for both in-person and virtual engagement. 1/28/2026 - 5/1/2026 (10 hrs/week)
