This is a two-semester position. The intern will support the CHNA 5.0 Community Context Assessment and Building Our Largest Dementia Infrastructure (BOLD) evaluation projects, including CCA coordination, report review, MAPP 2.0 triangulation and prioritization, evaluation planning aligned with the CDC Evaluation Framework, survey development, data analysis, and assisting with a CHNA-ADRD caregiver and evaluation reports.
Ability in the English language is required for this position.
This is a two-semester position.The intern will assist with two projects:
Community Health Needs Assessment 5.0: The intern will support coordination and completion of elements of the CHNA 5.0 Community Context Assessment, which integrates qualitative findings from key informant interviews, focus groups, and open-ended Community Survey responses. By the Fall 2026 - Spring 2027 internship period, key informant interview and focus group data collection are expected to be near completion, and the intern will provide general support for completing the assessment. Responsibilities may include attending weekly consultant meetings, tracking project progress and deliverables, organizing documentation, reviewing draft materials, and supporting communication across project partners. The intern will also assist with review of the integrated Community Context Assessment report and support the MAPP 2.0 triangulation and prioritization process by helping synthesize qualitative findings with other CHNA data sources to inform community health priorities.
BOLD Evaluation and ADRD Reporting: The intern will also support evaluation activities for the Building Our Largest Dementia Infrastructure (BOLD) grant, which focuses on Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRD). Responsibilities may include evaluation planning using the CDC Program Evaluation Framework, background research to support the evaluation, assisting with survey development and building surveys in REDCap, supporting quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, and contributing to evaluation summaries and reports. The intern will also assist with development of a Maricopa County ADRD Caregivers Report.
