The People and Culture intern will support the ongoing work of the People & Culture Team. During the internship period, the intern will support event planning and implementation of several major events to promote a resilient, engaged, and thriving workforce, including THRIVES webinar series, Wellness in-person events, and new employee activities. There will also be opportunities to attend current THRIVES events, participate in team meetings and training opportunities, and join our P&C team.

The People and Culture Team is a MCDPH Team focused on internal priorities such as staff wellness, process improvement, training and development, and Department infrastructure. The team applies organizational excellence strategies such as project management, continuous improvement, and evaluation. The intern will support the ongoing work of the People & Culture Team. In addition to creating promotional materials and attending project management team meetings as outlined in the position summary, the People and Culture intern will also lead a marketing and communications plan project for two THRIVES events taking place this summer. They will also have an opportunity to lead our weekly Monday Mindfulness sessions.
